World in Conflict (also known as WiC or WIC) is a real-time tactical video game developed by the Swedish video game company Massive Entertainment and published by Sierra Entertainment for Microsoft Windows. The game was released in September of 2007. A version for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles by Swordfish Studios was scheduled to be released by fall 2008 under the name World in Conflict: Soviet Assault, however, the game has since been dropped from its productions by Activision.
World in Conflict does not offer base-building or resource gathering. Instead, players are given a pre-determined amount of in-game reinforcement points to buy units. When a unit is destroyed, the points used to purchase it are slowly filtered back to the player: thus reinforcements can be summoned to the fray. Tactical gameplay lacking base- and unit building is similar to real-time tactics (RTT) games, some of which feature intermittent reinforcements. Another example of the genre is Ground Control by Massive Entertainment, sometimes considered World in Conflict's spiritual predecessor. In fact, the game's designers considered the game to be an RTT.

Stronghold: Crusader is a standalone expansion of Firefly Studios's 2001 game Stronghold; Firefly's first Stronghold is not required to play Stronghold: Crusader. Crusader differs from its predecessor in the fact that the game is no longer set in a pseudo-Europe, but is instead set in the Middle East during the Crusades. The game features several new Arabian units that can be purchased in a new building, the mercenary post. Though the Arabian troops do not require any resources to produce, they are rather expensive. The game was also released as Stronghold Warchest. This version was a compendium of Stronghold and an enhanced version of Stronghold: Crusader, containing additional characters and an additional Crusader Trail.
The gameplay between Crusader and the original differs in the fact it's a completely different setting. Since Crusader is set in the Middle East, there are limited resources and farmland. Instead of being able to build farms wherever you choose in the original, you are limited to building farms only on oasis grass. This creates a rivalry among opponents and allies alike for farmland and makes the game more competitive. Also, there are 4 or 8 new AI opponents (depends on which version of the game purchased) and several new Arabian units purchasable from a mercenary post. The color of the player's units have also been changed from blue to red in order to match the colors of the Knights Templar.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent is the fourth installment in the Splinter Cell series of video games developed and published by Ubisoft. The series, endorsed by American author Tom Clancy, follows the character Sam Fisher, a "Splinter Cell" employed by a black-ops division of the National Security Agency, dubbed Third Echelon.
As part of the JBA, Sam must complete objectives set by them to gain their trust as well as complete objectives from the NSA. The decisions he has to make will become increasingly difficult as he progresses through the game. Earlier decisions, such as deciding whether or not to free all of the prisoners during the prison breakout, will just affect his score, but as the game progresses, Sam is faced with serious choices that could kill thousands if made wrong, but may blow his cover if he does not do it.
Despite this, Sam must make the JBA trust him, in order to gain access to the restricted areas of their base and complete NSA objectives. If he is seen in restricted areas before he is allowed to go there, it will dramatically affect his trust with the JBA. Similarly, if he is caught using an NSA gadget or picking a lock in JBA HQ, he will be killed on sight. He is also watched by the JBA in most of his missions, if he is seen completing NSA objectives or is thought to be doing something out of the ordinary, his trust will go down. Killing people apart from those ordered to be taken out will affect his NSA trust in the same way.

The player is able to aim in various directions and easily change their placement at any time. Bullets now affect the enemies specifically where they are shot. Shots to the feet can cause enemies to stumble, while shots to the arms can cause them to drop their weapons.

Ragnarok Battle Offline, or RBO, is a beat 'em up game for Microsoft Windows created by doujin soft developer French-Bread. The soundtrack is composed by Raito of Lisa-Rec. It is a homage and a spoof of the MMORPG Ragnarok Online created by Korean developer Gravity Corporation.
RBO impressed Gravity Corporation so much that it has been given an official release outside of Japan. Released as Ragnarok Battle, the game has been distributed in Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand and a deluxe package in Korea which comes with its own gamepad. Level Up! Games also released an English version of RBO available in the Philippines. However, this release is based only on the initial version of RBO, which does not include the expansions released by French-Bread. There is also an unofficial, fan-made English translation patch available for the Japanese version.
